Campus Wide Networking
Institute has around 450 plus computer systems with all the peripherals like printers, scanners, plotter, copier, etc.; out of which around 350+ Computers are connected through Internet. For Internet connectivity dedicated Leased Line of 20 MBPS from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and 3 MBPS Point to point connectivity from Reliance Communications are provided for faster access of web contents to all the stakeholders of the institute. The entire Institute is connected through campus wide networking. Campus is equipped with Wi-Fi internet facility using leased line backbone.
It connects all the departments to common servers. The inter-departmental communication is encouraged through Intranet Server. Server room has different servers for Internet Mail Server, E-governance Server, Video Streaming, FTP Server and Proxy Server.The Institute is also having Internet Mail Server & wi-fi facilities. Students are encouraged to have their own Laptops which can be given the unique id to access Internet.
