Co-curricular activities form an essential part of the academic programme at the Institute. The B.E. programme requires successful completion of either an NCC, NSO or NSS scheme for the award of degree. This scheme, taken up by students in the first two semesters, demands a minimum attendance of 75%. Given below is a description of the activities involved in each of the schemes
Student Association
E2SA is Electronics Engineers Student Association gives platform for a student to show their hidden talent by arranging different program at college level. This forum indirectly gives student leadership quality, improve their Communication Skill and quality of organizing any event. In a year each semester consist of one technical program to develop personality of a student apart from education.
Youth Festival
The Youth Festival is a one of the platform provided by Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University for student. This platform is a great opportunity for a student to expose their hidden talent in front of other. The occasion of this festival is generally held at the middle of even semester. The departmental student are participate in such festival and by giving their best performance always secure top position. From last four years our college always at the top in Youth Festival.
National Service Scheme
The National Service Scheme was instituted with the aim of creating social awareness among students and gives them an opportunity to serve society. The KGIET wing of the NSS has over 200 students, both first year and senior students, contributing to the cause of the scheme. The student volunteers of NSS have been engaged in the following activities.
